Kew Fayre Trust
Kew Fayre Trust is a charitable company limited by guarantee and governed by a Board of Trustees.
The charitable objects of Kew Fayre Trust are to organise and promote the historic Kew Fayre, providing an opportunity for other oganisations to raise funds, and to advise and assist other local organisations with the planning and execution of fundraising activities.
Kew Fayre Trust remains quietly in the background, but is active year round and has assisted several organisations in planning fundraising efforts, including St Anne's Church Tercentenary Appeal and the Kew Society. Kew Fayre Trust has also assisted local sports clubs and businesses.
Kew Fayre Trust has taken a leadership role in advising other fairs in the London Borough of Richmond on Health and Safety and compliance issues. Kew Fayre Trust enjoys an excellent ongoing relationship with the London Borough of Richmond and has given advice on matters concerning all types of outdoor events in the borough.
Although organising Kew Fayre is a key object of Kew Fayre Trust, the event is actually organised by Kew Fayre Ltd - the wholly owned trading subsidiary of the Trust. |
